The communiqué provides an analysis of the three key themes the symposium addressed - policy, designing and research for practice - together with a summary of the collective contributions and conclusions of those present at the event. It has been prepared to inform stakeholders and to guide future actions.
It is now time to hear your feedback - the five great women behind the symposium, former CDAA President Carole Brown, Jenny Bimrose, Deirdre Hughes, Tannis Goddard and Jaana Kettunen, are keen to hear your thoughts on the document and would welcome your response by
August 26 via email. Responses can be directed to communications@cdaa.org.au.
Feedback will then be folded
into the final version for presentation at international and national forums
over the coming months. CDAA will also provide a specific response to the final
recommendations.
The draft communiqué can be accessed here.
We would like to thank all participants once again for attending and are looking forward to hearing your thoughts as we progress this document into the future.
